We both began working with children over 20 years ago in day cares, homes, camps, and schools. We created The Feel Good Project in 2009 out of a desire to share and interact with our community in a playful and unique way. Since then, we have been travelling around the country teaching workshops, classes, school and camp programs, and entertaining at parties and events. We are extremely grateful that we have the pleasure of playfully interacting with children and adults on a regular basis.
Kelly, Creative Director and Co-Founder of The Feel Good Project, loves to play and have fun! From a young age, she became a lover of movement (dance, gymnastics, softball, cheerleading) and knew that she wanted to teach one day. Kelly's introduction into circus began when she learned how to juggle from her middle school art teacher in the 80's and then bought her first pair of devil sticks in the mid-nineties at a festival. She then discovered yoga in 1996 and quickly fell in love with the practice. She became certified in hatha yoga ten years later through the Himalayan Institute of Yoga Science and Philosophy, where she lived and studied for two years. Kelly currently teaches hatha yoga, vinyasa flow, restorative yoga, pranayama (breathing), meditation, stretching, and hula hooping classes at The Lodge at Woodloch, a five-star destination spa in the Poconos. She is also certified in elementary education, middle school math, Thai Massage, and CircusYoga. She has assisted the founders of CircusYoga in teacher trainings and large family retreats at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. Kelly also paints faces and offers interactive entertainment at parties and events.
Aaron, Co-Founder of The Feel Good Project, has a special way with children and people in general, as well as an amazing sense of humor. He grew up helping his mom take care of his younger brothers and sisters and the children in her home day care center. He later served 3 1/2 years in the US Army as an infantry soldier. Aaron has now transitioned into the world of fitness, helping people of all shapes and sizes learn how to take care of their minds, bodies, and spirits. He is certified as a Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Fitness Trainer through AFAA. He currently works in the fitness department at The Lodge at Woodloch, a five-star destination Spa in the Poconos, where he leads early morning fitness walks, offers personal training, teaches T'ai Chi, Cardio Kickboxing, Meditation, and Stretch classes, and assists people in the cardio/weight training studio. Aaron's introduction to circus arts was when Kelly taught him to juggle shortly after they met. That soon turned into him becoming a super solid base for Kelly, and many others for flying partner yoga. Aaron also co-teaches CircusYoga workshops and school programs and offers interactive entertainment with Kelly around the northeast.
